Doctor in Art History from the Universidad Complutense, of which she is an Honorary Collaborator in the Department of Modern Art. She has also been a member of the “Instituto de la Corte en Europa”, researcher of the IULCE network of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and visiting researcher of the “Hispanic Society of America”.

She is currently a professor of “Cultural References of Fashion” in the Degree of Communication and Fashion Management, Villanueva University Center (U.C.M.) and a professor (accredited by the ACAP) of “Contemporary Art” also in that center. She is also a member of the editorial staff of the magazine “Fila Siete” and coordinator of the section “Style and Film” in which she regularly collaborates with profiles of film costume designers or analysis of costume design in outstanding productions.

Among his publications, the book “El pintor en la sociedad madrileña durante el reinado de Felipe IV” (FUE) and the edition of “La mujer en las artes” (CEU) stand out. He has dedicated several monographs to the influence of the avant-garde in the fashion of the 20th century and to the relationship between cinema and painting.
