Omni-Channel Retail and Fashion Branding
Joshua is an experienced creative director, consultant, educator and personality. Joshua has a master’s degree in Global Fashion Management (FIT, IFM, HKPU) and a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts (BYU).
Starting his career as a theater writer and director, Joshua became adept at developing his vision on a grand scale in productions staged from New York to Europe. It was with ease that he transferred his creative direction skills to branding, marketing and communications, always with a keen director’s eye and strong business acumen. Bridging entertainment and fashion, Joshua found his passion for cross-media and cross-cultural collaboration. He excels at bringing together diverse artists and creative teams from varied backgrounds to provide clients with one-of-a-kind solutions that lead to plenty of buzz and outstanding results.
Joshua’s specialties include branding, advertising, social media and retail. Clients include: JM, Adornia, Miguelina, Anne Valerie Hash, Andrew Marc, Vh1 Save the Music, “West East” magazine. In 2009, he founded and served as editor of See.7 magazine.
Joshua was a full-time professor and Chair of Fashion Merchandising & Management at Berkeley College for five years, responsible for 1,000+ students and 30+ faculty across nine campuses. In 2016, he developed the fashion design program for Bergen Community College. Additionally, he has taught for LIM, The New School, LIM, Gateway (Telemark, Norway) and as a guest lecturer at EAFIT (Medellin & Bogota, Colombia), ISEM (Madrid, Spain) and University of Navarre (Pamplona, Spain).
Joshua is a currently a professor at FIT. He recently developed three courses for the MFA and MPS graduate programs, which he now teaches. Each week, he hosts Faces & Places, featuring iconic fashion innovators.
Joshua is co-founder of QueerCut, a radically inclusive online marketplace. He currently serves as the Chief Branding Officer, responsible for developing corporate marketing, branding and communications.
