Ignacio Ferrero has a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Navarra. Bachelor in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Navarra. Ferrero is Professor of Business Ethics and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Navarra. He has been Visiting Scholar at Bentley University, Harvard University and NotreDame University.
He is currently investigating the ethics of virtue and the common good in financial activity. He is a co-founder of the Virtue Ethics in Business and Management research group, with an extensive international network of researchers from more than 30 universities. He is a member of the Academy of Management, Society for Business Ethics, European Business Ethics Network (EBEN).
He has published several books on the history of economic thought and articles in prestigious academic journals in his area such as Business Ethics Quarterly; Journal of Business Ethics; Business Ethics: A European Review; o Business and Society Review.
He won the prize “Víctor Mendoza” of the Institute of Economic Studies for the best doctoral thesis of the year 2000, as well as the extraordinary prize of doctorate.
